Bosley & Bratch veterans attorney Dan Smith has been elected to serve as a member of the Board of Governors for the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Bar Association. The results of the election were announced on September 28 at the bar association’s annual meeting in Washington, DC. It is a tremendous honor for Dan, who has represented veterans at the Court since 2011. Prior to joining Bosley & Bratch, Dan served in a prestigious position as a judicial law clerk to Judge Schoelen at the Court. Attorneys at Bosley & Bratch are active in leadership positions throughout the veterans law community, including on the Court’s bar association and within the National Organization for Veterans Advocates (NOVA). In addition to his new role on the Board of Governors, Dan is a member of the petitions committee within NOVA and frequently presents at its conferences. His practice focuses exclusively on VA benefits and he advocates for veterans at the Court and before the Board and regional offices.
