A new brain study has found that survivors of explosions have started to develop specific scar tissue. It appears this happens as the brain attempts to heal itself. This may be the cause of other symptoms these survivors are suffering with. Symptoms such as headaches, difficulty concentrating, sleeping disorders, memory problems, depression, and anxiety. The research further explores and states that this scaring has not been found in individuals who have suffered from other types of brain injuries such as car accidents or sporting accidents.
