WadeR.Bosley
Experienced Veterans Disability Advocate
Wade Bosley has been exclusively assisting veterans, their dependents and survivors obtain monetary disability benefits from the VA since 1995. He handles veterans claims for many different physical and mental disabilities, not just combat-related disabilities. Among the sort of cases he handles are:
- Claims for disability related to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) due to combat, sexual, or other trauma
- Claims for mental disabilities such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety, with many veterans not realizing for decades after discharge that they are entitled to benefits
- Claims for neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease that may not be diagnosed until years after discharge
- Claims for veterans' survivors who are entitled to compensation based on their veteran spouse's disability/cause of death
- War wounds from shrapnel or small arms fire, as well as the resulting disfiguring scars
- Agent Orange-related disabilities, including diabetes and its secondary conditions, and certain types of cancer
Experience Handling Civilian Disability Cases
Wade spent 25 years representing people in civilian disability cases. He was a trial lawyer who fought for compensation for our citizens who became disabled as a result of the negligence of others. He pioneered the use of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as an element of damage in personal injury cases. Wade also helped thousands of civilians and veterans obtain Social Security disability benefits. His previous civilian experience has translated well to his present practice of veterans disability law.
Prior to representing veterans, and contemporaneous with his representing civilians in disability claims, Wade was a 2nd Lieutenant in the 38th Infantry Division, HHC, 138th Signal Battalion, Indiana National Guard.
Lectures Presented on Disability Law
Wade has chaired seminars and lectured attorneys and non-attorneys from coast to coast in how to best win disability cases for veterans and non-veterans alike. He has an abiding desire that all disabled individuals should have access to the best legal help possible, and has donated a great deal of his time to achieve this goal.
