Jim was born in Marion, Indiana in 1953. Graduated from Marion High School in 1972; Brown University in 1976; and, Valparaiso University School of Law in 1979.
Following graduation from law school, Jim joined his father in a private practice of law. For many years he also served as public defender in Grant Circuit Court and followed that with five years as the Juvenile Court Magistrate in Grant Superior Court II. Jim came to the firm in January, 2002 and since that time has concentrated in the area of Social Security. Jim is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the State of Indiana and the United States District Courts of Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, The National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR), American Bar Association, Grant County Bar Association, Allen Bar Association (Social Security section).
