Daniel Smith joined Bosley & Bratch in July 2011. Before joining the firm, Daniel served as a judicial law clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) in Washington, DC, where he assisted in the preparation of approximately 200 decisions related to the administration of claims for VA compensation benefits.
Daniel is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law, where he was a senior associate on the Stetson Law Review. As a law student, Daniel worked as a legal intern with the National Veterans Legal Services Program in Washington, DC. In that capacity, he edited multiple professional publications, including the Veterans Benefits Manual and The Veterans Advocate, and he helped to prepare pleadings to be filed at the CAVC. Daniel also served as an intern to the Honorable Susan Bucklew at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa, Florida.
